Cooper - wow! What more can we say - he's just bloody awesome. A dynamite dog who has blown us away with his winnings during his years of racing.
He is spunky, fast and fearless. A natural sled dog who has the determination and enthusiasm even at 11 years of age to make people notice him. We at Idigadog held high hopes for Cooper and he has more than lived up to our expectations and has made a major contribution to our kennel.
Cooper competed in his first race at 9 months of age and placed 2nd overall. In his first ever snow race with his Uncle Spike, they placed 1st. The 2007 season saw Cooper become a real force to reckon with on the trail. Not only was he putting in some brilliant times at races but he was letting the Alaskans and Hounds know that he wasn't about to give up the podium without a good fight.
Each season just saw Cooper get stronger and stronger and his love for racing is so very obvious to all who watch him.
Cooper became the proud sire of three gorgeous boys with Teela in 2008, Sully, Ollie and Oscar and then again in 2010 he produced two more boys and two girls with Marli, one of which, Carbon came to live at Idigadog. They certainly have big paws to fill but each and every one of his boys that we have here at our kennel have proven that the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.
We now have Cooper grandkids in the team and so the legacy continues.
