Ionamal Luvs Speedyboots WTD

ANKC Registered Alaskan Malamute | Bred by Craig Turner Female | 208.02.1999 - 31.10.2010 On the 31st of October, 2010, our hearts were broken. The end of an era had come for Idigadog with us saying an emotional farewell to our last remaining Malamute - Phoenix.
Phoenix was our little pocket dynamite. She certainly lived up to her pedigree name - Speedyboots!!
Phoenix won many first Alaskan Malamute placings and placed extremely high in loads of races. In her very first race she was placed 2nd and even in the 2004 season at 5, her highest achievement was 3rd overall at the Southern Cross Classic. This was no mean feat given the calabre of Siberians she was racing against including some top quality imported running line dogs.
She was awarded her WTD (Working Team Dog) from the AMCNSW.
It was very quiet in the kennel after her passing although we still feel her presence quite regularly and different people have said that they have 'seen' Phoenix in the dog shed. We miss her 'woos' and backchat and the place is just not the same. Until we meet again Phoenix, run to your hearts content gorgeous and give everyone hell at the Rainbow Bridge!
