ROARY

TseekaSpirit Jontays Roary

ANKC Registered Siberian Husky | Bred by Natalie McIllreeMale | 11.12.2008 - 15.1.2024 15 years, one month and four days. On Monday evening we had the very sad task of helping Roary over the rainbow bridge. As was always his way, he had been fighting hard the past week or so but his body started to fail him and Roary told us that it was time. It seems quite surreal to be writing another Vale so soon and this is our fifth loss in 16 months. It sucks. It sucks a great deal. Roary the Racing Car and his brother Drifter (yes, Caleb was obsessed with the show and named them both) were bred by our good friend Natalie McIllree. Out of our boy Jonty and Nat's girl Tanayia, these spunky little dudes joined their dad at Idigadog and we loved them dearly. When Roary was born, Nat rang me to say that we had a "zebra" in the litter with the coolest coat pattern. He was super cute but those ears! He never did grow into them :-) As soon as Roary was old enough to be in harness he just excelled. It didn't matter to him what position he was in, he just ran. Always giving his best and a hard worker, Roary was paired with Rookie and they actually became National Champions in two dog class. Fast, hard, focused and determined - just like his namesake. Roary cheated death twice in the past two years and we only have our amazing vets to thank for saving him. Drs Clem, Chris and Stacy and the wonderful nursing team at BVS gave us extra time with our gorgeous boy and we will be forever grateful that you all took a chance on him and are the best. Thank you guys. Roary we are going to miss you so very much. You loved everyone and it was the same in return. Such a gentleman at all times even with the young girls bossing you around and stealing your bed. You really were a very good boy. I hope that you've been reunited with your brother Drifter and dad Jonty. I know that they would have been waiting for you. Rest now buddy. We will always love you.
