SCOUT

Alpison Ali's Scout By Sully

ANKC Registered Siberian Husky | Bred by Kim Offner Male | 22.01.2012 - 24.10.2023 11 years and 9 months. Your time with us was cut too short Scout and we are devastated. You know when you meet someone and you just click, well this is what it felt like with Scout. He was just supposed to be with us from the very beginning. Born to Kim's beautiful girl Alpine out of our Sully, Scout came along when Caleb started school and the two of them became very close buddies. Hours and hours were spent playing together and Scout even went to school many times to see all the kids. He loved it! A really pretty boy who did some modelling work over the years, Scout was always up for posing. As soon as he was old enough, racing in harness just came naturally to him and even though he was a major pain to hook up because he loved to grab the lines, or anyone who was close enough, Scout excelled and became a constant in Andrew's 6 dog team. As a veteran he raced the past couple of years with Caleb and Trooper and they made such an awesome team and had many podium placings. It is so heartbreaking to believe that Scout was racing just two months ago and giving his all. Now he is gone and the pain is all consuming and unfair. He had so much more life to live. On Tuesday night we said our sad farewells to our gorgeous boy at our home together while he was eating ice cream and being cradled by his people. Oh Scout, you have left a huge hole in our hearts and kennel. Ruff is going to miss his little bro terribly as are we. I hope you've found Sully and all of the Idigadogs that have gone before you. Thank you Kim for allowing Scout to be a part of our lives for nearly 12 years. It has been a privilege to own and love him. Rest now Scout. You were such a good boy and although your barking could be totally annoying, we will miss it and you for the rest of our days.
