SULLY

Idigadog Coopers Sully By Teela

ANKC Registered Siberian Husky | Bred by Andrew, Lisa & Caleb Gersbach Male | 21.03.2008 - 29.04.2020 He was born different. We knew that from day one. With his wiggy tail and hard arse attitude the smallest of the three "Monster" brothers was destined to make an impact on our lives. We just didn't know how much. Whelped in WA by Natalie McIllree out of her beautiful Teela and our boy Cooper, Sully epitomised what the ultimate lead dog should be. At nine months of age, he stepped into the lead position of a team and that's where he stayed. Always. In March 2010 Sully was bitten by a tiger snake and he survived. Unbelievably he raced that season and never looked back. He was tough. Determined. A fighter. Sully loved his puppies and was firm but fair. You certainly knew which kids were his because he would be pulling them into line constantly. He adored his grandkids and his great grandkids at Idigadog and we are eternally grateful for the generations that followed on from him. 39 weeks to the day of his cancer diagnosis, Sully decided to leave us. As always, it was on Sully's terms surrounded by his kids, grandkids and great grandkids and his family who have loved and cherished him for 12 years. No more "hello" woos at me in the morning. No more shit stirring Jonty in the yard. No more pain. Sleep well dear Sully and enjoy the trails wherever you are. You were the goodest boy and we love you.
