Jonty is a combination of the Anadyr lines that we already had in our kennel, with some of the most successful and influential racing lines of the past. He is from an AI mating with his mother Molly (Arcticmoon Molinka) to his father, three time Iditarod leader, Alaskan's Max Factor of Anadyr. He was a long time in the making and we were over the moon when he finally joined us at Idigadog. Jonty has been our mainstay leader for our four and six dog teams over the past five seasons and had a lot of responsibility for a young dog with keeping the yearlings in line. He's headstrong, determined, highly competitive, fast and works his butt off in harness. We knew very early on that Jonty had a very bright future and that he would be a formidable member of our team for many years. Now a veteran, it doesn't look like Jonty is going to give up his position in the team any time soon. He sired a litter to Tanayia in 2008 and each of those pups have gone on to be fantastic racing dogs in their own right. His son Roary lives at Idigadog and now competes in the same team with his dad. A big thank you to Natalie McIllree (TseekaSpirit Siberians) for entrusting us with her precious boy as we know how hard it was for her to give him up. He has certainly made us all very proud!
