Sleddog Racing
Our journey into the world of racing began in 1997. We joined the newly formed Canberra Sled Dog Club and absolutely loved it. Our first race was in August 1997, where the team were 1st placed Alaskan Malamutes. How could you not be hooked after that?
Over the past 11 years we have done many, many kilometres in training, racing and travelling. The Idigadog team are regulars on the national race circuit and have been very successful.
Even a broken shoulder for Andrew at the Altitude 5000 race in 2002 (where the team still placed 5th overall), hasn't dampened our enthusiasm for racing.
Our love of our precious pups and the sport led Andrew into becoming the President of the Canberra Sled Dog Club for a number of years and he is now the President of the Australian Sleddog Sports Association.
