If it be I grow frail and weak
Rest in peace Teela. We are forever indebted to you.
The beautiful mum of three of our gorgeous boys, Arcticmoon Teela, was let go to heaven on 23rd June 2008.
In what was the most tragic of circumstances for Natalie, she had to make the decision to let Teela go after an emergency operation discovered that she had liver cancer and that it had ruptured. There were no signs that she was sick and she was happy and healthy leading up to this.
We can’t believe that she crossed over to the Rainbow Bridge just 13 short weeks after she gave us three precious little boys, Sully, Ollie and Oscar. It's a miracle that Teela was able to carry the boys to full term let alone take care of them. They are all the more special now and we know that they will make their mum proud in the coming years.
Teela was owned and loved by Natalie McIllree and she so graciously allowed us to lease Teela for our first litter under the Idigadog prefix.
A beautiful, grand lady with the temperament to die for, Teela had retired from competitive racing but still had a fling in the Veteran's class on the national circuit.
Words cannot express how grateful we are to Natalie, and we know that Teela's legacy will carry on her wonderful character and loving nature. We will never forget what both of you have done for us.
